The District and Sessions Court awarded death penalty to Vikram Singh, Jasvir Singh and his wife Sonia today for kidnapping and brutally killing Abhi Verma,alias Harry, a student of Class 9 of the local DAV Senior Secondary School.

Fodder scam: 15 sentenced
Ranchi, December 21
A CBI court here today sentenced 15 persons to prison for six years in a fodder scam case. The court slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 each on 10 former officials of the animal husbandry department and five suppliers.
