as the best album of 2006 in a poll conducted by music magazine NME.
The Sheffield
group’s frontman Alex Turner admitted he was surprised by the
album’s success, despite being heavily tipped in the run-up to
its release at the beginning of the year.

Kate Winslet has hit out at the ‘thin is in’ style in the American and
British movie industries, and insists that the trend is both
"disgusting" and "unbelievably disturbing." Mum-of-two
Winslet said that the trend of thin being "image of perfection", was
dangerous because it sent out the message that no other body-type would be able
acceptable.
