Govt warned against ignoring Sikh farmers

Mandi Ahmedgarh, January 8 Sikh organisations at home and abroad have warned the Union Government against ignoring the interests of their community in Uttranchal and eviction of Punjabi and Sikh farmers from 1,200 acres of farmland declared surplus following a Supreme Court order. Some of them have apprehended exploitation of the situation by separatist forces in case sentiments of a particular community continued to be hurt.
