IAF to train Navy MiG-29 crew

With the Navy acquiring MiG-29K fighters for its fleet air arm, the Indian Air Force will be training some of the naval aviators and engineers on the technical aspects of the aircraft in Chandigarh.

Safety week fails to curb traffic violations

Road Safety Week, currently being celebrated by the Chandigarh Police, has failed to curb habitual offenders from violating traffic safety norms. The traffic police, too, has been unable to target on all aspects of traffic safety as it has remained confined to educating people about wearing helmets, using seat belts, refraining from over- speeding and driving on low beam during the night.
