Deepender Hooda wins by huge margin

Rohtak, October 1
The Congress nominee, Mr Deepender Hooda, was today declared elected to the Lok Sabha from the Rohtak parliamentary constituency by a massive margin. He defeated Capt Abhimanyu of the BJP by 2,32,198 votes.

CBI arrests Mumbai IT Commissioner
New Delhi, October 1
The CBI today arrested Mumbai Income Tax Commissioner B. R. Meena for possessing assets disproportionate to his income, a day after it carried out nationwide raids against public servants.
