Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Nadaun 3 and Kahu and Kasol 2 each, Punjab: Ranjitsagar Dam 2 and Shahpur Kandi 1 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 7 and Pantnagar 2.
Forecast valid until the morning of August 15:
Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and north Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in rest of the region.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 15: Partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundry development/light rain in some areas.
