Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhunter and Shimla 1 each and Punjab: Nangal 1.

Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.
Departure:
They were markedly below normal in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34.0°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
