Punjab moves Centre to ban Noormahlia sect
Chandigarh, November 29
The Punjab Government has decided
to move the Government of India to ban the alleged unlawful activities
of followers of the Noormahlia sect who operate under the name and style
of Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sanstha in the state.

framed against Langah, others

The court of Special Judge here
today framed charges against Sucha Singh Langah, former Punjab PWD
Minister, under Sections 13 (a) (e), 13 (2) of the Prevention of
Corruption Act and Sections 467 and 468 of the IPC in criminal and
corruption case registered against him by the Vigilance Bureau on May 16
at SAS Nagar.

Raj Sharma, today asserted that intelligence inputs suggested the
presence of Al-Qaida operatives in Bangladesh and Pakistan’s ISI was

and, hence, will have to be re-constructed, which involves huge money.
