Lift ban on Kothari report: Gill
Former Union Minister MS Gill has urged Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to lift the ban on a report published by the People's Union for Civil Liberties and the People's Union for Democratic Rights on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi. Gill said: "Since it is an important report that throws light on what happened in Delhi in the first week of November 1984, there should be no ban on it."Hoshiarpur
Man jumps parole, booked: Gurdeep Singh of Pandori Ladha Singh village has been booked for jumping parole. He was imprisoned in Ludhiana Central Jail and was out on a four-week parole. Jail superintendent had complained in this regard.

Dental care workshop ends: A two-day implant workshop at Dr Vivek Saggar's Dental Care and Cure Centre International Institute of Stomatognathic Studies ended on Monday with two live surgeries by Dr RC Hertel. The latter is a leading implantologist from the Netherlands. He has been practicing oral implantology for the past 28 years.

Two trains cancelled:
The Northern Railway cancelled New Delhi-bound 14682 DN Jalandhar-New Delhi Express and Amritsar-bound 12459 New Delhi-Amritsar train on Monday. Sources said the trains were cancelled as these had been delayed.
