Racket busted at RLA

The Registration and Licensing Authority (RLA) today busted a racket of agents who in connivance with a Class IV employee of the
RLA, Sector 17 branch, used to get files deposited at the branch after charging money from applicants. The UT Vigilance Department was today informed by the RLA following which a case against the sweeper has been registered.

New hope for patients with recurrent heart blockage

There is a ray of hope for patients with recurrent heart ailments. Perhaps for the first time in the country, a team of cardio-vascular surgeons performed ‘Z’-angioplasty on a 69-year-old Chandigarh resident who had undergone two bypass surgeries and had blockage in another artery.
