Accused BTech student held; probe raises eyebrows

After a lapse of over 48 hours, the UT police finally arrested the accused, Satyajot Singh, a BTech student, in the hit-and-run case which snuffed out the life of a young IAS aspirant, Sujata Sharma, in Sector 49 on Friday night. Serious question marks are being raised over the "shoddy police investigation" as it wasted crucial time in arresting the accused.

Pet owners don’t have a dog’s chance at this hostel

It’s already a houseful at the dog hostel in the government pet clinic in Sector 3 here even though summer is yet to arrive. People headed for foreign countries have left their pets here. There are many others in the waiting list for the holiday season.
