Mussoorie, December 26
While residents of the Doon valley are shivering under the cover of a dense fog, tourists and residents alike are basking in the glory of a bright sun in Mussoorie.

The tourists, who have stayed back for Christmas and New Year parties in Mussoorie, were in for a surprise when mother nature treated them to it's marvel. They were in surprise and awe to see clouds and fog disappear. But they could view the Doon valley engulfed in a thick blanket of fog.

Jasbir Singh, a tourist from Delhi, could not believe his eyes and said the view was like being in heaven. His wife Manpreet Kaur also agreed with him and said they felt as if they were walking on the clouds after seeing such a scene for the first time in their lives.

Another tourist Raj Singh said that due to the sun shining in it's full glory in Mussoorie, they felt much warmer during the day in Mussoorie. However, the cold was being felt only after sunset, added Raj Singh.

The Met Department was of the view that such a view would be a regular feature in the days to come. However, the clear sky over Mussoorie and dense clouds over Dehradun has been a regular phenomenon for the last few years, the officials added.

Ten-year-old Roshni Parekh, who plays Gudiya in Zee TV’s popular prime time drama 'Mrs Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein' admits that striking a balance between studies and acting was certainly challenging.

Roshni Parekh, who is in Dehradun these days to set example as a child artiste and encourage young talented children of Dehradun to participate in the auditions of ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz,’ said striking a balance between studies and acting was certainly a challenging task. She said that she owed her success to her school Principal in Boriveli at Mumbai, who certainly gave her some concession to take out time for acting. She, however, did not rule quitting acting at later stage of her life to take time out for studies.

Referring to her role in 'Mrs Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein,' Roshni said she loved acting and playing Gudiya in the serial, which has been a wonderful experience. “It feels amazing when people recognise me wherever I go. My fans and well-wishers love me like I am a kid from their own family,” she said.

Roshni said she was lucky to get such an early break in life where her talent was noticed. “But there are so many talented kids who never get the right opportunity to shine,” she pointed out. She added that ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ was a great platform for children who are good at dramatics and can act well.

‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ auditions in Dehradun are slated to take place on December 28.
