3 dead, 20 hurt in accident

10 SHOs shifted by police commissioner
Ludhiana, March 25
Barely a day after taking charge as Commissioner of Police of the city, Ishwar Singh, today made a major reshuffle and transferred nearly 10 station house officers (SHOs) with immediate effect. It is the second reshuffle that took place in the police department in past few days. Earlier, the previous police commissioner Ishwar Chander had transferred over 20 police officer on March 14.

Recovery of pending dues from residents
MC going strong
Ludhiana, March 25
The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation seems to be going good when it comes to the recovery of pending dues. Till March 22, the MC has been able to recover around Rs 25 crore as pending dues from city residents. The target till March 31 is Rs 40 crore, which the MC Commissioner Malwinder Singh Jaggi claims would be achieved.
