Army man ends life

Pathankot: An Army jawan, identified as 29-year-old Arun Saini, a resident of Rajpura, posted at 12 JAK Regiment of the Army at Mamun, reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle here on Friday. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The SHO, Mamun, said inquest proceedings had been initiated and the family members of the jawan had been informed. — OC
