Suspect boxes in dustbin spark bomb scare
Ambala February 15
Panic reigned for a while in the army cantonment today noon when a sanitary worker noticed two packed cardboard boxes wrapped in gunny cloth in a dustbin near the Kharga canteen. He informed army personnel in the area following with a district police officer arrived at the scene.

Six injured in mishap

Six persons were injured in an accident near Damanheri railway crossings in the wee hours today. As per police officials, a speeding SUV on its way towards Sangrur from Rajpura rammed into an accidental truck and all its occupants received serious injuries.
