The UT Administration and the Independent Schools Association seem to have locked horns over instructions issued by the former to combat the spread of swine flu.

10-year jail for raping minor 
Chandigarh, November 23
A local court today sentenced a Ram Darbar resident, Suresh, to 10-year imprisonment for raping a minor, who later also gave birth his child.

Sacred Heart closed for week

The management of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School has decided to close the school till November 30 after a student of class IX was tested positive for swine flu.

A majority of the listed criminals in the city are involved in organised crimes like drug-peddling, liquor-trafficking, gambling, thefts and burglaries. 987 students get degrees
