Endovascular procedure saves woman’s life

Paramjit Kaur, a 65-year-old woman from Nawansaher, suffered from a large suprarenal aortic aneurysm (a ballooning out of the artery), which was threatening to rupture as the patient, was suffering a shooting pain. A CT angiogram confirmed that the aneurysm was located just below the diaphragm (muscle separating the chest from the abdomen) and it was full of clots.
Body of 80-yr-old donated to CMC

Motivated with the scientific knowledge of awareness created by activists of Tarksheel Society among the masses about myths of reincarnation, family members of Gurdial Singh (80), a resident of Kosa Randhir village in Moga district, who died a natural death, was today donated to the anatomy department of Christian Medical College (CMC) here for the purpose of medical education and research.
