Government school sans rooms, sanitation

Government Primary School, 1A and 1C, Jail Road, Ludhiana, speaks volumes of the appalling poverty and government's apathy. The school is sans roof, room and sanitation. PSEB to focus on power conservation

The president of Shri Mahadev Mandir Goshala Welfare society (Regd), Varinder Khara, an advocate in the city, during a press conference said the society has decided to construct a 36 ft idol of Lord Shiva in the precincts of a prachin temple of Lord Shiva in Payal. He said the society has been working for the past four years to revive the six Shiva temples built in the times of ‘Pandavas’.
