Water level up in Bhakra, Pong dams

Though water level at both the Bhakra and Pong dams in Himachal Pradesh continued to rise, the rains have receded in the hills giving hope that the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) will not be forced to release water from the floodgates of both the dams into the rivers in Punjab.

Badal, family members of all personnel killed while fighting external aggression or internal terrorism would be eligible for jobs on compassionate grounds.
