One booked for trespass
Jagraon, July 18
Ravinder Singh of Cheema entered into the house of Manprit Singh of the same village on July 16 and assaulted him with iron pipe and sharp-edged weapon. Manprit was admitted to the local civil hospital. The local police has registered a case under sections 452, 323, 324 and 506 of the IPC. Old court case is stated to be the reason behind the assault.
