Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana and West Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Rajgarh 3, Dhundhi, Palampur and Rohru 2 each and Bhang, Bhuntar, Bangana, Dharampur, Dharamsala, Jubbal, Kahu, Kumarsain, Shimla, Sunnibhajji, Sundernagar and Theog 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Kupwara 2 and Bhaderwah 1, Punjab: Batala and Moga 2 each and Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala and Ropar 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh, above normal in East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.0°C recorded at Chandigarh and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 24: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Punjab and likely at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Isolated hailstorm likely in North Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal during the next 24 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 24: Mist in the morning. Partly cloudy sky with possibility of Thundry development/light rain in some areas. The minimum temperature will be around 15°C.
