Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.1°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.
