Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Ghamroor 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow 3, Lucknow Control Room, Mirzapur and Mohana 2 each and Chillaghat and Kanpur 1 each and Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag 2 and Mukteshwar 1.

Forecast (valid until the morning of September 19): Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
