People advised to avoid soft drinks

The Bharat Jan Gyan Vigyan Jatha (BJGVJ) has expressed concern that even after three years of the report about pesticides in the soft drinks, no steps have been taken either by the government or the companies to bring the pesticides to the permissible limits.
Ban on soft drinks sought

Lok Janshakti Party has demanded a ban on the soft drinks in the country as these have been found carrying residues of the pesticides have reportedly found in these.
Addressing a press conference here last night, the district president of the party, Mr Maninderpal Singh, said that the party also wanted to put a full stop to the 'mole' controversy as it had caused the loss of precious time in the parliament.
He also expressed grave concern over the rising crime in the city.
