Chandigarh, July 1 Western disturbance lay over north-east Afghanistan and adjoining north Pakistan and upper-air cyclonic circulation over Himachal Pradesh and neighbourhood, extending up to 2.1 km above sea level. A fresh upper-air cyclonic circulation lay over central Pakistan and adjoining north-west Rajasthan and neighbourhood, extending up to 900 metres above sea level, according to the Weather Office here. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and a few places in Haryana and Punjab during the next 24 hours. Serval areas in Himachal Pradesh, including Sundernagar, Suni, Kasol and Gamroor, continued to receive rain since last night, bringing a considerable fall in the temperature. Pandoh recorded 3.5 mm, Nagrota Surian 1.5 mm and Kahu 49.5 mm rainfall till this morning.
