Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Hisar and Sirsa 3 each; Punjab: Nagal 2 and Amritsar 1; Himachal Pradesh: Nagrota 6, Rampurbushar and Naddaun 4 each and Guler 3; east Rajasthan: Pindwara and Nathdwara 10 each, Makrana 9, Laxmangarh, Arnod, Badisadri and Chotisadri 6 each, Ramgangmandi, Nimbahera, Kisangarh and Nawalgarh 5 each, Bahadurpur, Alwar, Mundawar 4 each, Jhalawar and Roopwas 3 each, Pushkar, Govindgarh, Kothanuman, Shahpura, Sawaimadhopur and Fatehapur 2 and Kotkasim, Baseri, Sikar, Bansur, Rawatbhata and Udaipur 1 each; west Rajasthan: Raipur and Bilara 6 each, Bikaner, Ratangarhand, Bhadra, Rohat and Sriganganagar 4 each, Rajgarh and Bhopalgarh 3 each, Sujangarh and Bhinmal 2 each, Jodhpur 1; east Uttar Pradesh: Bhinga and Gonda 5 each, Katerniaghat and Balrampur 4 each, Sultanpur and Basti 3 each, Bahraich 2 and Gorakhpur, Bansi and Khadda 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 5 and Fatehgarh 1; and Uttaranchal: Srinagar 11, Tehri 6, Dehra Dun 5, Rudraprayag, New Tehri, Dehra Dun (FMO) and Jhosimath 4 each, Rishikesh and Marora 2 each.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 40.1 °C recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of July 2: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and south Rajasthan and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and north Rajasthan.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Punjab and south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.

For Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 2: Generally cloudy sky with rain/thundershowers in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 36 °C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of July 2: Light to moderate rain will occur at many places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
