The minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.
Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.9°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
