A former Congressman Mr Pratap Singh, who keeps on sharing dais with Congress leaders against INLD, further said that his name could not be removed from the hearts of the people of Haryana as he was among those national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru and Bhim Rao Ambedkar whose statues had been set up in Central Hall of Parliament. Mr Pratap said that he had warned by Chautala by organising several press conferences during his regime to desist from the policy of naming every other establishment after Tau Devi Lal and from erecting his statues here and there. Mr Pratap Singh said he had named every other establishment if his Tau thinking that if his successor changed it, he would get political mileage out of it and attempts were being made to do so. In reply to a question over INLD’s demand to rename both the establishments after Tau Devi Lal, he suggested that all political parties should sit together to discuss the issue and a criterion should be fixed for that.
