Hisar 8 hurt in clash: Eight persons were injured, four of them seriously, in a clash between two groups at Basra village in the district. The injured persons were rushed to the local Civil Hospital. The condition of Prem, Zile Singh, Kamal and Raja is stated to be critical. SONEPAT Income tax raid: Officials of the Income Tax Department conducted a raid on a wholesale shop, Gulab Reori and Gajjak of Rohtak on the G.T. Road near Murthal Chowk, 8 km from here, on Wednesday and found the shop locked from outside. According to a report, the officials had to return disappointed when other shopkeepers told them that the shop had remained closed since January 7 and the owner had removed all the eatable goods from it. Telephone adalat: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is organising a telephone adalat on February 3 in the office of the District General Manager at Sonepat. According to a report, Mr T.R. Chauhan, District General Manager of BSNL, will hear the complaints of the subscribers and remove them on the spot. 1 killed in accident: One person was killed and two others were injured when a three-wheeler on which they were travelling was hit by a maxi-cab on the G.T. Road near Teha village, 18 km from here, on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Devi Singh of Hathwala village in Panipat district, wereas the injured were identified as Umesh of Hathwala and Ashu of Khandarwali village in U.P.
