Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, below normal in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.2°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 8: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 8: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 12°C.
