Terror-hit Delhi rebounds
Markets open, police on high alert
New Delhi, October 30
The three serial blasts in Delhi yesterday failed to dampen the Divali and Id festive spirit in the Capital, with Delhiites coming out in large numbers for shopping in markets decked up for the occasion.

Rs 1 lakh reward for information on attackers
New Delhi, October 30
The Delhi Police Commissioner, Dr K.K. Paul, today announced a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone providing clues to the identity of those responsible for last evening’s serial blasts in the congested markets of the Capital even as the death toll rose to 62.

The two committees constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs to look into the adequacy of compensation to 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims and deal with the issue of providing additional livelihood have recommended about Rs 1,000 crore worth additional compensation.
