Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Utttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.4°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: they were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.8°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
