Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature changed little.

Departure: It was above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: It was below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 29: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
