Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported at a few places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: East Rajasthan: Bakani and Pirawa 4 each, Ladpura and Ramganjmandi 3 each, Amet 2 and Jhalarapatan and Pachpahar 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Kanpur IAF 5, Varanasi AP and Varanasi FM 2 each and Kanpur FM 1 and West Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 1.

Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 46°C recorded at Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan).

Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana and Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir.
