Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Quazigund (Jammu and Kashmir) has recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Haryana and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 45.2°C recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 5: Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in Punjab.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 5: Mainly clear sky with dust haze. Thundry development accompanied with squall is likely in some areas during afternoon/evening. The maximum temperature will be around 43°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 5: Development of thunderclouds is likely at a few places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 kmph is likely at isolated places.
