The orders were pronounced while deciding the complaint filed by Rajesh Singla of Malaudh, in Ludhiana. It was submitted by the complainant that he joined the institute following an advertisement by the local franchisee of CMS Computers Ltd claiming best education in e-commerce.It was claimed in pamplets that if one spent one year at the centre, he would be provided job in the institution or in any other institution of the same status, added the complainant. The complainant had further alleged that the institution did not have trained and qualified teaching staff. He kept on visiting the institution and made several requests for the completion of the course. He also claimed that a student Jasminder Singh had also left the institution for want of proper education and Rs 8,000 deposited by him was refunded. But despite serving legal notice on the institution the amount deposited by him was not refunded. On the other hand, CMS Computers Ltd and its local franchishee pleaded that they were having sufficient and trained teaching staff to provide best education. The allegations levelled by the complainant were totally false. Infact, he himself was not serious towards studies. The institution had claimed that the student used to create disturbance in classes by misbehaving with teachers and classmates. “If the complainant was a spoiled child or that he was not attending the course regularly or his act and conduct was not proper, a notice should have been sent to the parents of the complainant’’, observed the forum after hearing the contentions of both parties.
