Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at Isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttaranchal, Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were above normal in Uttaranchal, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 42.6°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 14: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana and west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
