Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, rose in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and normal in Himachal Pradesh. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 35.4°C recorded at Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 14: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.
