Knee ache:

By Dr Aditya Aggarwal, Associate Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, PGI.

2. Elderly persons, especially women after their menopause, need to be more careful as they are at a higher risk of developing osteoporosis and a persistent ache in the knees.

3. Take regular dosage of anti-inflammatory drugs if the problem persists.

4. Consult an orthopaedician as in severe cases a knee surgery could also be performed.
