Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and isolated in the rest of the region. The chief amount of precipitation recorded in cm. are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhang, Dhundhi and Solangnala 5 each, Kumarsain 4, Bhuntar, Guler, Nadaun, Rampur bushahar and Sundernagar 2 each and Berthin, Ghamroor, Kasol, Nagrotasurian, Pandoh, Patsio, Sunnibhaji and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote and Jammu 4 each, Quazigund 3, Banihal, Katra and Kupwara 2 each and Srinagar 1 and Uttaranchal: Tehri 1.
Temperatures:
Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.
Departures:
They were above normal in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
