Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, largely above normal in east Rajasthan, markedly above normal in Haryana, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.5°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 20: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 20: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 13°C.
