Rainfall: Rain or snow has been reported at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell appreciably in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, fell in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly below normal in west Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 33.6°C recorded at Rawatbhata (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Uttaranchal fell in Haryana and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and uttaranchal, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.5°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 1: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
