Southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from most parts of Rajasthan, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana including Chandigarh and Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Withdrawal line passes through Lakhimpur Kheri, Gwalior, Kota, Udaipur, Deesa and Nalia.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: east Rajasthan: Bansur 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Khadda 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 29: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
