Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from parts of Punjab and west Rajasthan. Withdrawal line passes through Ferozepore, Bikaner and Barmer.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: east Uttar Pradesh: Bhinga and Kakardharighat 2 each and Sultanpur 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 26: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
