Rainfall: Rain /thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Rewari 6, Delhi Bridge and Kalka 2 each and Hissar and Naraingarh 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bangana 20, Sujanpurtira 9, Rajgarh 6, Ghamroor and Nadaun 5 each, Kahu 4, Berthin, Guler and Sundernagar 3 each, Kangra 2 and Bhunter, Baggi, Kasol, Nagrotasurian and Pandoh 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 8 and Banihal and Quazigund 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 8 and Ropar 2, east Rajasthan: Tizara 5, Bari and Karauli 4 each, Atru, Bamanwas, Deeg, Khandar and Tapukara 3 each, Alwar, Chhabra, Dholpur, Kaman, Niwai, Rajgarh, Rajakhera and Pahari 2 each and Laxmangarh 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Palliakalan 1, west Uttar Pradesh Moradabad 3 and Narora 2 and Uttaranchal: Tehri 6, Srinagar 5, Rishikesh 3, Uttarkashi 2 and Hardwar 1.
