Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cms. are: Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi 3, Barsar and Kasol 2 each and Berthin and Solangnala 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote and Katra 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Bansi 5, Dalmau 2 and Balmikinagar, Katerniaghat and Raebareilly 1 each and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 1.
