SDO found shot
Panchkula, June 11
Mystery shrouds the death of Mr Udai Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer, Panchayati Raj, posted at Morni, at his residence here today. The 47-year-old officer was found shot dead in the drawing room of his Sector 11 house in the afternoon, though the police was informed of the incident only around 10 pm tonight.

HUDA to install 54 new tubewells
Panchkula, June 11
Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has installed 54 new tubewells to ensure adequate drinking water availability. The HUDA Administrator, Panchkula, Ms Sukriti Likhi, informed that there were 111 tubewells in the town and six new tubewells were being made operational for ensuring proper drinking water availability in the summers.
