Departure: They were largely above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Haryana and Punjab and above normal in Uttar Pradesh. The highest temperature in the region was 40.2°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and above normal in the rest of the region.
