Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were largely above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in east Uttar Pradesh. the highest temperature in the region was 39.3°C recorded at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.The lowest temperature in the plains was 12°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 15: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 15: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32°C and 16°C respectively.
