The Asian Paints, Kasna in Greater Noida, donated a mobile medical unit (van) to Helpage India for the service of the aged and the destitute in the area.
At a simple ceremony at the factory of India’s largest paint company, Asian Paints in
Kasna, a MMU (Van) was presented to Maj-General Inderjit Singh Dhillon (Retd) by factory manager Jalal Sharma.

Employees sustain burn injuries
Sonepat, February 28
Three employees, including a foreman, were injured when the sulpharn plant started leaking and this caused an explosion in the Chaudhary Devi Lal Sugar Mills at Ahulana village about 40 km from here on Thursday.
Four women injured in group clash
Sonepat, February 28
Four women were injured in a group clash at Pai village, about 15 km from here last night.
According to a report, all the injured women were hospitalised and stated to be out of danger. The police are still investigating into the case.

206 villages to be transformed into model units

The Delhi Urban Development Minister, Mr Raj Kumar Chauhan, today announced that the government had decided to transform 206 villages in the Capital as model villages. Development works will be started in 40 villages in the initial stage.

A man was killed and his wife seriously injured when a truck rammed into their motorcycle on the Gurgaon road here today.
According to information, Sudam, a resident of a Bhiwani village, was going to Gurgaon with his wife,
Promila, on the motorcycle.
